To she who cares too much:
I know this might sound a bit strange, but maybe someone doesn’t appreciate always having their eating habits singled out during meals. If I decide to eat a salad, it is not up for debate on whether or not YOU believe it’s healthy, if YOU believe it’s enough, or if YOU believe I should have something else instead. Please don’t ask me how much weight I’ve lost, or what I weigh, or tell me I’m too skinny. It makes everyone unnecessarily uncomfortable and I quite frankly don’t give a shit. I know enough about myself and my diet to make my own decisions.
You’re not being caring, you’re being judgemental. Please stop staring at me every time I take a bite of the food you don’t approve of. It’s creepy and triggering. The only thing harder than keeping food down is eating it in the first place, so I suggest you go occupy your time with something more meaningful than logging my intake.
